Thursday, 14 May 2009, 19:00 – 24:00Gala Dinner: “A taste of Stuttgart” at the Old Wine CooperativeAlthough the City of Stuttgart holds 15 Michelin stars (of a total 61 stars Baden-Wuerttemberg), none of the star restaurants are big enough to take the entire EMSOS crowd. For this reason, we have hired what was formerly Germany’s largest cooperative wine press, the “Alte Kelter”, as the venue for our gala dinner, and hired one of the region’s best caterers to provide traditional Swabian dishes accompanied by excellent local “Remstal” wines. followed by... Dance the rest of the night away at some of the bars on Stuttgart's party mile Friday, 15 May 200, 19:00 - 20:30Reception given by the Lord Mayor at Stuttgart City HallOn the last evening of EMSOS 2009, which is the eve of the GPOH Research Forum and the Patients’ Symposium, the City of Stuttgart has invited EMSOS delegates and those attending the Patients’ Symposium on Saturday, 16 May to enjoy drinks and snacks in the Panorama Window Foyer on the fourth floor of Stuttgart’s City Hall. The Panorama Foyer enjoys an unrivalled view over the market place, which on the following day will be home to Stuttgart’s famous farmers’ market. followed by... Dinner.The Allianz Versicherungs AG has kindly invited those staying on in Stuttgart for the Friday night to join the patients and their families attending the survivors' workshop on Saturday for dinner.
